other things to consider:
how much time you got? factor in drive time and always add!!!
fitness level. don’t be a hero! you want to enjoy it!
distance? account for about 20 min per mile.
elevation? an increase of 1,000 feet in a mile is steep.
time of year and weather.
logistics – commute, parking, etc.
