affirmation of the week? I LET GO AND FIND SOLUTIONS. one of my all-time favorite, and one I use DAILY.
we all know what it feels like to be in the flow. effortless, happy living. even in the work situations, we all know what it feels like to be able to hum along and get a ton of stuff done.
we all also know what it feels like to be stuck. for things to seem difficult. to encounter resistance, frustration, and aggravation. and to not get things done.
did you ever consider that resistance, frustration, aggravation, and being unclear may actually be signs of a need to give something space? I truly believe that we can live most of our lives in the flow, IF we can cultivate a moment-to-moment awareness of this principle. the problem for most of us, including myself, is that we get so caught up in what it is that we’re doing, that we end up trying to force solutions, push thru, make things happen, or prove a point, when in reality, backing off is exactly what will help it to move forward.
now, on a daily basis, I let go and find solutions. in business, in my personal life, in my fitness world. . . everything is about ebb and flow, up and down, strikes and gutters. when I feel resistance, frustration, or aggravation in any way, I take it as a mindfulness reminder bell to back off, take a walk, meditate, or move onto something else. AND every single time I do this, my solution presents itself out of nowhere.
I now celebrate resistance, frustration, and aggravation, because I know what my answer is – I simply let go and find solutions.
