quest 4 – from worst to best (adopting an unnecessary challenge)

think about the biggest uninvited difficulty you currently face, or setback, or disappointment.

use your imagination to answer this question:

what would be the worst possible least helpful reaction that you or anyone else in your shoes could have to this situation.

you don’t have to be completely realistic. let your mind go to extremes for just a moment.

and now answer this question:

what is the opposite of that worst reaction?

whatever the opposite, consider adopting it as your unnecessary challenge.

your quest is to take your most pressing, uninvited difficultly or challenge, think about the absolute worst possible, least helpful reaction, then write down the exact opposite and adopt this as a personal challenge.  your quest is technically complete when you complete your personal challenge, but for purposes of this quest, going thru this exercise counts as completing the quest.
