expressing gratitude is one of the most reliable ways to boost your emotional well-being, and interconnectedness with others. and it is the single most important relationship strengthening emotion because it requires us to see that we’ve been supported and affirmed by others.
it’s easy to be thankful for “good” things, good times, good friends, etc. but I think the larger picture, the grander perspective is to understand EVERYTHING contributes to the greater good, ESPECIALLY our challenging and difficult times and relationships. because EVERYTHING helps to clarify what we want, where we want to go, who we want to be with, and how we want to live our life.
we are so thankful for the obvious. so thankful for this opportunity we all have to help further the destiny we all share. and we are thankful for everything else too :)
