Going on a long backpacking trip? Thinking about summiting a mountain? Or maybe just thinking of going out on a hike all day?

Listen in on this quick conversation on a question we had in our online community asking: What do I need to do or what do I need to eat the night before a big hike? 

Our recommendation is SUPER simple! Continue in with our Real Food way of eating. The night before the intense activity, we suggest eating nutrient dense foods and a good balance of starches and greens. Essentially, don’t change up your normal routine! That’s not what your body is expecting.

We DO suggest snacks for when your body feels hunger when you are being active all day long.
