from the one and only, the supportive, selfless, and beautiful Sonja Spears!

dinner tonight was super yummy! a take off of Olive Gardens Zuppa Toscano soup, and all #approvedSHT!

  • 1lb spicy Italian sausage (I used ground) #‎proteinpower‬
  • 4-6 potatoes, chopped ‪#‎safestarches‬
  • 1 C heavy cream #‎fullfatdairy‬
  • 1 C kale ‪#‎greens‬
  • 1 C chopped onion
  • 1/4 C bacon (or more, come on its #‎BACON)
  • 32oz chicken broth
  • 3 TBLS tapioca flour
  • 2 TBLS minced garlic

cook bacon, chop. brown sausage. add sausage, broth, bacon, onion, potatoes, garlic to crockpot, add water just to cover vegtables, and cook on high 3-4 hrs (low 5-6 hrs.)  or until potatoes are soft.

30 minutes before serving: mix heavy cream with flour until mixed and no lumps. add cream mixture and kale to crockpot, stir and cook for 30 minutes or until soup thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste.

I added shredded Romano cheese to my bowl before eating it! YUM!  #‎poweredbyrealfood its whats right in life!
